Nestled in the picturesque landscape of Northeast Ohio, Hillstone Farms is a haven for Barnevelder Chickens and AKC Registered Labradors. Our 1805 home is set on the site of a former world class dressage facility, surrounded by rolling ravines and the very hillstones that inspire our name. Here, we take pride in preserving and promoting quality bloodlines, ensuring the best care for our animals for today and tomorrow. Our farm motto is Acta Non Verba, Actions Not Words. We spend our days homeschooling, homesteading, and raising well socialized dogs and chickens who are valued and respected. Everyone here is in hand and underfoot, and that difference
can be seen in every nose and beak.
Our AKC Registered Labradors come from a foundation of excellence. We prioritize health, temperament, and structure. Each of our dogs undergoes rigorous health testing and is bred for versatility - excelling in the field, the home, the show ring, or in service work. We are preservation breeders, and we match puppies based on temperament, purpose, and family compatibility, not simply by order of deposit.
